NISHINOMIYA, Hyogo (Kyodo) -- Teruki Yoshino kept the Hanshin Tigers hitless through six innings to pace the DeNA BayStars to a 2-0 win in the only Central League game on Monday.

Yoshino (3-2) issued two walks and hit a batter while striking out six in a 94-pitch effort at Koshien Stadium, where he escaped a two-on jam in the fourth inning. Toshiro Miyazaki hit a two-run home run in the sixth off a 1-2 fastball from Tigers reliever Shoki Murakami (7-11).

"I managed to get a swing that was true to my style," said Miyazaki, who a pitch earlier blasted the ball similarly to left but to the wrong side of the pole. "It rose high but caught the wind well (for the home run)."

DeNA relievers Hiromu Ise and Chihaya Sasaki each hurled a scoreless inning before Hanshin finally produced two hits in the ninth off Kohei Morihara.

In the Pacific League, Toshiya Sato had a ninth-inning RBI single as the Lotte Marines beat Rakuten 2-1 for their third straight win and condemned the Eagles to their fourth straight loss.
