SEVILLE, Spain (Kyodo) -- Japan attacker Takefusa Kubo scored a fine solo opener for his third goal of the season as Real Sociedad won 2-0 at Sevilla in Spain's La Liga on Sunday.

The 23-year-old cut inside past opposing left-back Adria Pedrosa before firing home low from inside the box in the 35th minute at Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.

Mikel Oyarzabal scored a 68th-minute penalty to double the lead after Martin Zubimendi was blatantly brought down by Marcao. The win lifted Sociedad up to 10th in the table.

In the Dutch Eredivisie, striker Koki Ogawa scored a brace to take his season's tally to four goals as NEC Nijmegen hammered Groningen 6-0 at home to also move up to 10th.

The 27-year-old scored a sixth-minute penalty and doubled the lead 20 minutes later with a shot into the top left corner. Ogawa also set up NEC's 52nd-minute fourth before coming off with 11 minutes left, replaced by compatriot and summer signing Kento Shiogai.

In France's Ligue 1, Auxerre forward Ado Onaiwu scored his second goal of the campaign as the 78th-minute substitute steered home late on to complete a 4-0 home win over Rennes.
