TOKYO -- About one month has passed since Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS made its closest approach to Earth on Oct. 13 and showed us its beautifully extended tail. The comet is no longer visible to the naked eye and is gradually moving to the far reaches of space. This time-lapse video looks back at the appearance of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS, which became a hot topic in Japan as the first major comet that could be seen in a while.
