Football: Mitoma on target as 10-man Brighton beat Bournemouth 2-1

BOURNEMOUTH, England (Kyodo) -- Kaoru Mitoma notched his second goal of the English Premier League season Saturday as he helped 10-man Brighton earn a 2-1 win away to Bournemouth.
Mitoma calmly angled his shot past Bournemouth keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga for a 2-0 advantage after Joao Pedro sent the Japan winger through on goal in the 49th minute.
Brazilian forward Pedro had given Brighton the lead when he tapped in after four minutes at Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium.
Brighton looked in control until the 59th minute when a second yellow card for midfielder Carlos Baleba turned the momentum Bournemouth's way.
The visitors held out in defense until David Brooks pulled a goal back for the hosts in the third minute of additional time.
In the Scottish Premiership, Kyogo Furuhashi bagged his fifth goal of the campaign when he opened the scoring for Celtic in their 4-1 win away to Hearts.
Daizen Maeda and Reo Hatate were also in the starting lineup for league leaders Celtic.
