Football: Nadeshiko Japan to host Colombia in April friendly

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- The Japan Football Association said Thursday the women's senior national team will play Colombia in a friendly match in Osaka on April 5 or 6.
The match at Yodoko Sakura Stadium will be the first home game since Dane Nils Nielsen was named the first foreign manager of the team, known as Nadeshiko Japan, earlier this month.
Before the friendly match, the two teams are scheduled to face each other at the SheBelieves Cup tournament beginning Feb. 20 in the United States.
Japan are ranked eighth in the world and Colombia 21st. Japan have won their only head-to-head meeting.
