KUMAGAYA, Japan (Kyodo) -- Japan's Urawa Reds were knocked out in the quarterfinals of the Women's Asian Champions League football tournament Sunday, losing to China's Wuhan Jiangda 6-5 on penalties after a goalless draw.

Three Urawa players missed penalties in the shootout loss at Kumagaya Athletic Stadium. In the semifinals, Wuhan play Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City, while South Korea's Hyundai Steel Red Angels will take on Australia's Melbourne City.

The semifinals and final will be played between May 21 and 24 at a venue to be determined.
