GLASGOW, Scotland (Kyodo) -- Celtic forward Daizen Maeda scored his 30th goal across all competitions this season in Scotland on Saturday, while his Japan teammate Keito Nakamura got a goal and assist as Reims ended their 15-game winless run in France.

Maeda bagged a brace in a 3-0 home win over Hearts in the Premiership, beginning with a 17th-minute opener at Celtic Park where he calmly side-footed into the far corner after Callum McGregor played him through.

Maeda's header came off the post, but Jota slotted home the rebound for their second in the 24th minute before the Japanese speedster tapped in Nicolas Kuhn's pass across the face of the goal to complete the scoring in the 41st minute.

Nakamura got his ninth goal in Ligue 1 this term during Reims' huge 3-1 home win over Marseille, grabbing a 29th-minute opener after creating a little gap inside the box before firing home.

Reims doubled the lead following a 51st-minute counter launched by Japan winger Junya Ito, with Nakamura setting up Mamadou Diakhon to squeeze home. Valentin Atangana got their third, and while Valentin Rongier's stunner pulled one back for the visitors, the home team secured vital points to ease their relegation fears.

In England, substitute Daichi Kamada assisted Eddie Nketiah for the last goal of Crystal Palace's 3-0 win at Fulham in the FA Cup quarterfinals. Kaoru Mitoma came off as Brighton went out at home to Nottingham Forest, losing 4-3 in a penalty shootout after a 0-0 draw.

In the Netherlands, Shunsuke Mito netted a double in Sparta Rotterdam's 3-0 win at Fortuna Sittard as the attacker took his season's tally to five goals. Forward Kento Shiogai came on and scored to help NEC Nijmegen secure a 3-3 home draw with AZ Alkmaar.
