SENDAI (Kyodo) -- Toshiki Abe tied the game with an RBI double and Hideto Asamura drove in the go-ahead run as the Rakuten Eagles came from behind to beat the Seibu Lions 4-1 in the Pacific League on Thursday.

Veteran right-hander Takayuki Kishi (1-0) earned the first win of his 19th Nippon Professional Baseball season after throwing seven innings of one-run ball in which he limited his former team Seibu to just three hits, while striking out two.

Rookie Seiya Watanabe put the Lions on the board with an RBI triple in the top of the fourth inning at Rakuten Mobile Park Miyagi.

The Eagles turned the game around with a three-run sixth inning. Abe knotted the scores with a grounder to the right corner off reliever Shinnosuke Hada (0-1) before Asamura followed with a broken-bat fly to shallow right-field.

Yukiya Ito completed the rally when he beat the throw to first for an RBI infield single.

Seibu's loss marked their first 0-4 start to a season since 1979.

At Zozo Marine stadium, Orix Buffaloes closer Yoshihisa Hirano earned the 250th save of his NPB career, pitching a scoreless ninth inning in his team's 3-2 win over the Lotte Marines.

The 41-year-old right-hander, who debuted for the Buffaloes in 2006 and had stints with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Seattle Mariners, became the fourth player to achieve the milestone.

In the Central League, Masahiro Tanaka (1-0) notched his first win as a member of the Yomiuri Giants, throwing five innings of one-run ball in a 5-3 victory over the Chunichi Dragons at Vantelin Dome Nagoya.

The former Rakuten and New York Yankees ace needs two more wins to reach 200 for his combined NPB and MLB career.
