CHICAGO (Kyodo) -- Seiya Suzuki went 3-for-4 with two RBIs for his second straight multiple-hit game as the Chicago Cubs beat the Texas Rangers 10-6 on Tuesday.

Suzuki gave the Cubs a 3-2 lead by delivering a bases-loaded, two-run single to left with two outs in the second inning at Wrigley Field, off a 2-1 cutter from Patrick Corbin.

Having singled in the first, Suzuki reached for the third straight at-bat when he had another base hit to open the fifth. Two more singles from his teammates loaded the bases and a Dansby Swanson sacrifice fly plated Suzuki for a 4-3 lead before Nico Hoerner singled in two more runs.

The Rangers tied 6-6 in the top of the eighth, but two errors helped the Cubs score a crucial four runs in the home half with Swanson and Pete Crow-Armstrong singling in two runs each.
