Football: Yuya Fukuda hits winner as Gamba beat Nagoya

SUITA, Osaka (Kyodo) -- Late substitute Yuya Fukuda's 78th-minute winner gave Gamba Osaka a crucial 3-2 victory at home to Nagoya Grampus in the J-League top flight Wednesday.
Gamba improved to 57 points to place fourth, behind Sanfrecce Hiroshima (65), Vissel Kobe (64) and Machida Zelvia (60), with three matches remaining for the Osaka-based club.
Fukuda came off the bench in the 74th minute and picked up his first goal of the season just four minutes later.
South Korean defender Ha Chang Rae opened the scoring for Nagoya five minutes into the match at Panasonic Stadium in Suita, Osaka Prefecture.
Isa Sakamoto scored two goals in a span of eight minutes to turn it into a 2-1 first-half lead for Gamba before Haruki Yoshida's 56th-minute goal leveled the score again.
In the day's other matches, Brazilian striker Thiago Santana scored in the 10th minute of stoppage time as Urawa Reds earned a 1-0 win at home to Kashiwa Reysol. Tokyo Verdy won 2-0 at Albirex Niigata.
