Golf: 2007 JLPGA money champion Momoko Ueda to stop competing at top level

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Golfer Momoko Ueda, the 2007 JLPGA Tour money leader when 21, announced Sunday she intends to stop competing at the top level at the end of the season.
The 38-year-old had five wins in 2007, including her first on the tour, and played on the U.S. LPGA Tour from the following year. She has 17 domestic tour wins in total, the last in 2022.
"I'm thinking about taking my next step," she wrote on her Instagram account.
