DINGWALL, Scotland (Kyodo) -- Japan forward Kyogo Furuhashi bagged a brace as leaders Celtic won 4-1 away to Ross County on Saturday, reaching double figures in goals for the fourth straight season in the Scottish Premiership.
Furuhashi turned in a low right-wing cross for the 40th-minute opener at Global Energy Stadium in Dingwall. While Jordan White leveled from the spot on the hour mark for the home side, the agile forward headed home in the 81st-minute to take his season's tally to 10 goals.
"There are many moments I'm missing my chance, but I'm grateful to everyone for keeping the faith and passing to me," said Furuhashi on the official website for Celtic, who also got goals from Arne Engels via a penalty and Luke McCowan late on.
Winger Junya Ito scored his fourth goal of the season as Reims went down 4-2 at home to Nice in the French Ligue 1.
Ito volleyed in a 34th-minute leveler from close range following a weak clearance from the Nice backline, canceling out Evann Guessand's headed opener six minutes earlier at Stade Auguste-Delaune.
Gaetan Laborde scored a 44th-minute penalty and rolled in his second 20 minutes later for Nice to seal the win.
"The ball fell for me nicely. I just had to try not to sky it," said Ito on his goal after Reims remained without a win in six league matches. "I made two passing mistakes when we had chances to counter. My performance wasn't so good to be honest."
Forward Koki Ogawa scored for the second straight game in the Dutch Eredivisie, side-footing home the 23rd-minute winner for his seventh goal of the campaign as NEC Nijmegen won 1-0 at Zwolle.
Sparta Rotterdam attacker Shunsuke Mito slid in his second of the season, a 52nd-minute opener in a 1-1 draw at Heracles Almelo.
