TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Dylan Riley scored a pair of tries in the second half as the Japan Rugby League One-leading Saitama Wild Knights defeated the Yokohama Eagles 51-36 on Sunday.

Having taken a 25-24 lead into the break following Kyohei Yamasawa's penalty goal after the halftime hooter, the Wild Knights pulled away with tries from Riley, Vince Aso and Yamasawa in the first 20 minutes of the second half.

Viliame Takayawa got Yokohama back on the board with a try in the 71st minute, but Riley crossed again soon after at Prince Chichibu Memorial Rugby Ground.

The Wild Knights finished the high-scoring match with seven tries to the Eagles' five.

The Wild Knights were reduced to 14 men for 20 minutes after Taiki Fujii was shown a second yellow card late in the first half for dangerous play.

"Our team isn't affected by that kind of trouble," Saitama captain Atsushi Sakate said. "We proved that today."

In Sunday's only other contest, Mie Heat completed a come-from-behind 38-37 victory over the Sagamihara Dynaboars with Ryota Kobayashi's 80th-minute try and Oh Gwang Tee's match-winning conversion.
