OITA -- Four people were stabbed at an outlet of rental movie giant Tsutaya in Saiki, Oita Prefecture, on July 13, leaving one person seriously injured.

At around 9:45 a.m., Oita Prefectural Police alerted the fire department that a man had been stabbed in the side with a kitchen knife on the grounds of Tsutaya's Saiki branch. According to the local fire department, three men aged between their 50s and 80s and a woman under 20 were stabbed and transported to a hospital.

All four were reportedly conscious, with a man in his 60s sustaining serious wounds.
